Troubleshooting

API Key Errors​

  • Please check if the key has been deleted from OpenRouter or if the key has expired.
  • If you configured it manually, ensure that you copied the API key correctly from OpenRouter.
  • You can update the key at any time in the Settings screen (accessed via the gear icon settings button).
  • Check that you have not specified a different provider in the BaseURL for the model specification.

Model Specification Errors​

In OpenRouter, model availability is not permanent, and some models may be deprecated. In such cases, please specify a different model.

Story Blocked for Safety Reasons, Empty Responses, etc.​

The theme or choices may be violating the AI's safety policies. Please try switching to a more permissive model or starting a new game with a different theme.
