Scene Regeneration
Regenerates the currently displayed scene.
Regeneration
Click the regeneration icon redo in the toolbar to display a dialog.
Regeneration Types
The displayed dialog offers two options:
- Preserve Context: Regenerates with the same conditions. Only the seed changes.
- Discard Context: Discards all previous context (scene text) and regenerates.
- This feature addresses cases where the AI starts repeating the same text.
- Strictly speaking, the previous scene data isn't deleted—it just stops being referenced.
- By design, flags remain intact so only details should be lost, but if the AI wasn't managing flags, the story may become disjointed. In that case, there's no recovery.
The regenerated scene branches off as a separate branch. The scene before regeneration remains unchanged.
To cancel regeneration, click outside the dialog frame.
Regenerating Turn 1
Due to specifications, a single save slot can only contain one root, so the regenerated scene becomes a separate save slot.
